  • Connect strategic capability decisions to initiative options and delivery learning.
  • Compare minimum viable scope, feature dependencies, estimates and priority tradeoffs.
  • Refine stories using concrete rules, useful models and observable acceptance criteria.
  • Evaluate demonstrations, retrospective experiments and release-readiness evidence.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

The difficult part of an agile analysis scenario is often choosing between actions that sound reasonable. Should you elaborate a feature now, preserve an option for later, change the next release, or question the outcome itself? This practice course helps you work through those decisions using the conditions in each case.

Build judgment across the four AAC domains. The questions address Agile Mindset, Strategy Horizon, Initiative Horizon and Delivery Horizon, aligned to the current public IIBA-AAC scope and the Agile Extension to the BABOK Guide, version 2. Practice includes customer context, value assessment, capability needs, minimum viable scope, solution options, feature priorities, story slicing, examples, model selection, acceptance evidence and release readiness.

What is included

  • 300 original single-answer questions across six tests.
  • Two 40-question training sets covering foundational and applied decisions.
  • A 25-question delivery set and a 25-question cross-horizon set for focused follow-up.
  • Two 85-question mock exams, each timed for 120 minutes, with four-domain allocations rounded from the official 30%, 10%, 25% and 35% blueprint.
  • Feedback for every answer choice, a case-based explanation and a short review prompt for each question.

A practical way to study

Start with the training sets. Before reading feedback, identify the outcome, the binding constraint and the evidence that would make the nearest alternative appropriate. Review why each rejected option fails in this particular situation. Keep a short record of missed decision patterns, such as confusing output with value, treating a dependency as available, or claiming acceptance from a test that does not exercise the required condition.

Use the delivery and cross-horizon sets to revisit specific gaps. Then attempt each full mock under its time limit. The mocks introduce changed boundaries, policy exceptions, dependency conditions and evidence limitations so that remembering an earlier answer is not the intended study method.

The current official AAC format is 85 scenario-based multiple-choice questions in two hours. The course's 75% practice target is a study setting; IIBA does not publish a passing percentage, and a practice result does not predict certification success. The shorter training sets use author-selected timing and are not presented as full exam simulations.

This is an independent preparation resource, not an official IIBA course or a source of actual examination questions. It complements study of the Agile Extension and the current certification handbook. No certification, endorsement or guaranteed result is included.
