More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Knowing the definitions is only the beginning. CPRE Foundation preparation also asks you to distinguish a genuine stakeholder need from a proposed solution, choose a suitable elicitation technique, interpret a requirements model and judge what changes when the conditions change.

This independent practice course contains 300 original English questions across six tests, organized around the seven educational units of the IREB CPRE Foundation Level syllabus 3.3.0. Each question includes an explanation of the answer, feedback on every alternative and a prompt for further study.

Start with focused practice

  • Foundations, principles and process decisions: 50 questions.
  • Documentation, templates and requirements models: 75 questions.
  • Sources, elicitation, conflicts and validation: 45 questions.
  • Requirements management and tool support: 40 questions.

Work through the focused tests in manageable sessions. Practice class-association multiplicities, guarded decisions, parallel activity paths and state transitions using clearly stated model encodings. Repair incomplete requirements, distinguish use-case conditions and outcomes, and compare process choices against real constraints.

Then integrate your decisions

The final two tests each contain 45 fresh mixed questions with a 75-minute timer. They combine topics and change the conditions so you can practice reasoning beyond recalling a familiar example. Some statement-evaluation exercises use combined truth assignments to fit the practice platform.

These are platform-adapted timed reviews. Official examination regulations describe approximately 45 questions in 75 minutes, with A, P and K question formats and weighted points. Udemy's whole-question percentages do not reproduce official partial credit, 1–3 point weighting or statement-by-statement K checkboxes. The 70% course target is a study checkpoint, not a conversion to an official result or a prediction of passing.

Use explanations to guide the next session

After a test, compare your reasoning with the feedback, revisit the relevant syllabus objective and explain why the alternatives fail under the stated conditions. For model questions, trace the flow or multiplicity in both directions before retrying.

This is a question-based supplement to study of the official syllabus, handbook and glossary; it is not a lecture course or a replacement for those materials. The content follows the current 3.3.0 public scope rather than the older 3.2.0 syllabus. Independent preparation material; no affiliation, official endorsement, exam registration or certification is included. IREB and CPRE names and marks belong to their respective owners.
