More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Business analysis questions often turn on a small distinction: an objective versus a tactic, an assumption versus a dependency, or a business need versus a requested feature. This practice course is designed to help you recognise those distinctions and explain why an alternative does not fit the evidence.

This 320-question course follows the BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis v4.1 syllabus. It contains four 60-question practice sets and two full-length 40-question mixed mocks. The first practice set includes a cross-domain diagnostic; the fourth combines delivery and readiness with foundation consolidation. Each mock follows the published 40-question, 60-minute format and the fourteen topic weightings. The official closed-book pass mark is 26 out of 40 (65%). Topic-practice timing is a study aid rather than an official examination format.

What the practice covers

  • Business change, analyst roles and competencies, strategic analysis and the Business Analysis Service Framework.
  • Investigation techniques, stakeholder analysis, business processes, gap analysis, options and business cases.
  • Requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, modelling, validation and change management.
  • Delivery lifecycles, business readiness, transition and benefits realisation.

A practical way to study

Work through topic practice with time to inspect the explanations. For every wrong answer, identify the condition that rules it out. Revisit the relevant syllabus objective, then attempt a mixed mock closed book. Use the result to target further study rather than treating one practice score as a prediction of your exam result.

Every question has one best answer, feedback for each alternative and a short study pointer. These are original practice questions, not live examination questions or recalled exam material. The course supplements the syllabus and its required reading; it does not replace the official examination or provide an exam voucher.

This is an independent English-language preparation course. It is not endorsed or accredited by BCS. BCS and related marks belong to their respective owners. Exam booking rules and language availability depend on the examination provider and channel.
