More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Choosing a technique is easier when you can explain why the alternatives do not fit. These 320 original questions help you work through business analysis decisions: interpreting strategic evidence, reconciling stakeholder perspectives, investigating the current situation and comparing feasible changes.

The course follows the six areas of the BCS Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis Practice v5.2 (May 2024) syllabus. It is designed for the multiple-choice and multiple-response assessment route. Some training providers use a written examination format; these practice tests do not simulate that written assessment.

A clear practice sequence

  • Four 60-question practice sets develop technique selection, model interpretation and business reasoning. The first set begins with a short cross-domain diagnostic before concentrating on strategy and stakeholder work.
  • Two 40-question mock tests each allow 60 minutes and use the published domain proportions: 20% strategy, 20% stakeholders and 15% for each remaining area.
  • Questions include feedback for every option, a worked explanation of the decision and a focused revision suggestion. Multiple-response questions state how many answers to choose.

Practise decisions, then review the evidence

Use the focused sets with your study notes. For each mistake, identify the condition you overlooked: internal versus external evidence, stakeholder power versus interest, the purpose of a model, or the difference between business, technical and financial feasibility. Then attempt a mock without notes and review the reasoning behind every uncertain answer.

The official objective assessment is closed book, with 40 questions in 60 minutes and a pass mark of 26/40 (65%). The course uses 65% as a practice benchmark; reaching it does not guarantee an exam result. The 90-minute focused sets are learning exercises rather than official exam simulations.

This is independent preparation. It is not an official BCS or EXIN course, is not endorsed by either organisation, and contains no recalled or confidential exam questions. Exam booking and certification are separate from this course.
