More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A process diagram can look tidy and still hide a missing outcome, an invalid join or a rule that no longer fits the business. These practice tests help you work through those decisions for the BCS Practitioner Certificate in Modelling Business Processes, syllabus v6.3 (November 2025).

You will practise distinguishing enterprise, event-response and actor-task models; interpreting responsibilities and routes; connecting processes with the value proposition; and evaluating improvements from both internal and customer perspectives. Scenarios include service requests, applications, orders, claims and shared operations. All questions are original practice material, rather than recalled or reproduced exam questions.

What is included

  • Four mixed practice sets of 60 questions each, covering foundations, enterprise and flow interpretation, task detail, and integrated process analysis.
  • Two 40-question mock exams, each set to 60 minutes and the current five-domain proportions: 15%, 15%, 30%, 10% and 30%.
  • Single-answer and multiple-response questions. Multiple-response items tell you how many answers to select.
  • An explanation for every option, overall reasoning and a focused review suggestion for each question.

The practice sets allow 90 minutes each as a study aid; they are longer training sets rather than official-length simulations. The two mocks follow the published 40-question, 60-minute structure. A 65% practice threshold reflects the published 26/40 pass mark for a full mock; your practice result is not an official exam result or a guarantee of readiness. The exam body has not published a fixed single-answer/multiple-response quota that this course claims to reproduce.

How to use the tests

  1. Work through the mixed practice sets and explain why each alternative succeeds or fails under the given conditions.
  2. Review weak areas against the current syllabus and your study materials. Pay particular attention to task boundaries, rule assumptions and customer outcomes.
  3. Attempt each mock without notes, using the 60-minute limit. Afterward, trace the reasoning for missed or uncertain answers before retrying.

Process routes are expressed in clear text, including sequence, actor, branch and timing descriptions. This course provides objective-question practice; it does not include video lessons, a modelling software laboratory or a graphical diagram-authoring assessment. It complements, rather than replaces, learning the modelling techniques themselves.

This course targets the current v6.3 objective-question scope. It does not target the retiring v6.2 route, a provider's written-format assessment, the diploma oral examination or any other certificate. Check your booked examination's version and channel with its provider.

This is an independent course from BrightRung Learning. It is not accredited, approved, endorsed or provided by BCS or EXIN. Their names and the examination identifier are used to identify the preparation topic. No examination voucher or certification award is included.
