  • Apply Kanban practices while preserving Scrum accountabilities, events, artifacts and commitments.
  • Define meaningful workflow units, start and finish points, states and explicit policies.
  • Distinguish observed WIP from limits and evaluate local and global capacity together.
  • Respond to queued, blocked and aging work using feasible actions and Sprint Goal context.
  • Interpret cycle time, work item age, throughput, SLEs and Little's Law with consistent units and boundaries.
  • Evaluate historical data and probabilistic delivery claims without treating averages as guarantees.
  • Prepare with focused practice and two timed 45-question PSK I structure mocks.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A board can look healthy while valuable work waits, and a reassuring average can conceal an aging item. Preparing for Professional Scrum with Kanban (PSK I) requires understanding what the evidence actually says and how flow practices fit the Scrum framework. These practice tests help you make those decisions with clear conditions, plausible alternatives and feedback for every option.

Work through 360 original practice questions across six tests. The course uses the November 2020 Scrum Guide and January 2021 Kanban Guide for Scrum Teams, as currently linked by the Scrum certification organization for PSK I preparation. It addresses the published subject areas of the Scrum framework, Kanban practices and Agile Metrics for Kanban. Detailed subject weights are not published by the Scrum certification organization; the learning distribution here is independently designed.

Build a reliable decision process

  • Start with 65 questions on Scrum foundations and flow decisions, including goals, accountabilities, events and quality commitments.
  • Continue with 65 questions on workflow boundaries, visualization and explicit policies, so you can distinguish a card label from actual started or finished work.
  • Practice 70 questions on pull, WIP limits, queues, blockers, work item age and service level expectations.
  • Use 70 questions on metrics and forecasting to interpret units, averages, distributions, historical evidence and uncertainty.
  • Finish with two integrated 45-question mocks, each set to 60 minutes with an 85% practice threshold.

The mocks match the publicly stated PSK I question count, duration and formats: single-answer, multiple-answer and True/False. Their scenarios and topic allocation are original practice content. Your result is a learning signal rather than a prediction of an official exam score.

Learn from the reasoning

Every item includes an explanation of the answer, individual option feedback, a study suggestion and official reading links in the question feedback. Practice identifying the workflow start and finish before counting WIP, checking capacity and entry policies before pulling, and distinguishing a useful forecast from an unsupported promise. Numerical exercises make their time units and sample rules explicit, allowing you to verify the reasoning yourself.

Use the focused sets at a comfortable pace. Review why each alternative fails under the given conditions, revisit the corresponding guide section, and then attempt a mock in one sitting. Afterward, explain your incorrect answers in your own words before retrying. This path combines foundational recall, practical diagnosis and integrated judgment.

This is an independent practice course. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Scrum certification organization, contains no official or recalled examination questions, and includes no examination voucher or certification. Professional Scrum with Kanban and PSK are identifiers associated with the Scrum certification organization. The course consists of practice tests and answer feedback rather than video lessons.
