  • Adapt goals, roadmaps and investments using evidence while preparing for timed PAL-EBM decisions.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A team can release faster, report more activity and still leave customers no better off. These practice tests help you decide what the evidence actually supports: which outcome matters, what a measure can reveal, whether an experiment addressed the right assumption, and what to change next.

Prepare for Professional Agile Leadership – Evidence-Based Management (PAL-EBM) with 360 original English questions across six tests. The content follows the May 2024 Evidence-Based Management Guide and the current assessment focus areas checked in October 2026.

The four focused tests contain 70 questions each:

  • Goals, empiricism and the distinction between inputs, activities, outputs, outcomes and impacts.
  • Current Value, Unrealized Value, customer evidence, stakeholder trade-offs and sustainable results.
  • Time-to-Market, Ability to Innovate, measure boundaries, ratios and interpretation of conflicting indicators.
  • Explicit hypotheses, focused experiments, result inspection, investment choices and outcome-oriented roadmaps.

Two mixed-topic mock assessments each contain 40 questions with a 60-minute timer and an 85% practice target, matching the published PAL-EBM question count, duration and passing threshold. Topic allocation is designed for this course because the official assessment does not publish focus-area weights. The focused tests use a 105-minute study timer; you can work through them in shorter sessions.

Every question includes an overall explanation, feedback for each answer option and a study suggestion. Work through situations involving incomplete evidence, changing denominators, conflicting customer and business results, limited budgets, adoption barriers and plans that depend on earlier experiments. Numerical tasks use definitions stated in the question; measurements are contextual examples, not mandatory EBM metrics or thresholds.

Use the course in three steps:

  1. Study the official EBM Guide and practice one focused area at a time.
  2. Review all option explanations after an error, then explain the decision rule in your own words.
  3. Take each mock under its timer and return to the focused area behind uncertain decisions.

This is a practice-test course, without video lessons, a laboratory environment or an exam voucher. Questions are original study material, not real or recalled certification questions. Practice scores do not guarantee an official result. The listed PAL-EBM assessment language is English; this course is delivered in English.

This independent preparation course is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Scrum certification organization. Professional Agile Leadership, Evidence-Based Management and PAL-EBM are associated with the Scrum certification organization. The course supports your study of the official materials and does not replace them.

  • Study the May 2024 Evidence-Based Management Guide; basic familiarity with agile product delivery is helpful.
  • Use basic percentages and time differences for the numerical interpretation questions; no specialist software is required.

Who this is for

  • PAL-EBM candidates seeking original question practice based on the 2024 EBM Guide.
  • Agile leaders and product professionals learning to connect goals, measures and experiments.
  • Managers who want to challenge activity-based success claims and make evidence-informed investment decisions.
