  • Evaluate strategic alignment, business-case readiness and the authority conveyed by a program charter.
  • Coordinate component plans, shared resources, issue responses and governed changes around program outcomes.
  • Distinguish outputs, forecasts and realized benefits, and assess transition and sustainment readiness.
  • Analyze stakeholder evidence, negotiate clear expectations and adapt communication to its purpose.
  • Apply governance boundaries, stage gates, risk escalation and operational integration conditions.
  • Explain why a plausible alternative fails when evidence, timing or authority changes.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A project can meet its local target while the program misses a strategic benefit. PgMP preparation requires you to distinguish these levels, judge interdependencies and act within the authority actually granted. These practice tests help you examine the evidence behind a decision instead of relying on a rule such as “always escalate” or “delivery complete means benefits achieved.”

400 original English questions in three tests:

  • A 60-question diagnostic test introduces decisions across all five exam domains. Use it in small sessions to identify the assumptions and boundaries you need to review.
  • Mock 1 contains 170 questions with a 240-minute limit, emphasizing coordinated delivery and program control.
  • Mock 2 contains 170 different questions with a 240-minute limit, changing evidence, authorization, timing and operating conditions to challenge memorized responses.

Each question has one best answer, an explanation for every option, an overall rationale and a focused study tip. Scenarios address charter and roadmap decisions, resource constraints, change impacts, benefits measurement and sustainment, stakeholder engagement and governance. Numerical questions include cost forecasting, capacity, net benefits and aggregate measurement, with the necessary assumptions stated.

The course is mapped to the 72 tasks in PMI's March 2024 PgMP Exam Content Outline. Each mock uses 26 Strategic Program Alignment, 75 Program Life Cycle Management, 19 Benefits Alignment/Management, 27 Stakeholder Engagement and 23 Governance questions. These counts are our rounded allocation of the published weights, not a claim about the exact domain counts on any live exam.

Use the tests to improve your judgment

  1. Start with the diagnostic test and record which condition you missed: scope, evidence, authority, timing, dependency or benefit ownership.
  2. Review the explanation for your chosen option as well as the correct answer. Explain why the alternative fails under this question's conditions.
  3. Take Mock 1 under the time limit, revisit weak tasks in your study materials, then attempt Mock 2 before reading its answers.
  4. Use repeated attempts for learning. A score after memorizing answers is not a reliable readiness measure.

This is independent practice material, not official PMI questions, exam dumps or a PMI-endorsed course. It does not reproduce the official testing interface, panel review or scoring process. The 70% practice threshold is a course target and is not a PMI passing score. No exam pass result is guaranteed. PgMP and PMI are marks of Project Management Institute; use here identifies the exam being studied.
