More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Choosing the right investments becomes difficult when strong business cases compete for the same people, funding and strategic attention. These original English practice questions train portfolio-level judgment: connecting investments to strategy, testing feasible combinations, recommending decisions within governance, and measuring the business value actually realized.

What is included

  • 50 Strategic Alignment questions on criteria, business cases, scenario choices and dependency-aware roadmaps.
  • 40 Governance questions on decision rights, standards, management plans and investment authorization.
  • 50 Portfolio Performance questions on consolidated measures, issues, change, capacity and strategic results.
  • 25 Portfolio Risk Management questions on shared exposure, ownership, responses and management reserves.
  • 25 Communications Management questions on stakeholder needs, engagement, training and credible reporting.
  • One 170-question mock with a 240-minute limit for integrated practice.

Every question includes feedback for each option, a reasoned explanation and a focused study suggestion. Numerical cases state their assumptions, measurement bases and constraints. Practice selecting feasible investment sets, recognizing benefit overlaps and distinguishing component success from portfolio effectiveness.

How to use the course

  1. Work through the domain drills and explain your choice before reading the feedback.
  2. Review the condition that ruled out each alternative, then revisit the relevant PfMP Exam Content Outline task.
  3. Complete the timed mock and use missed decisions to guide focused revision.

The course follows the current PMI-linked PfMP Exam Content Outline checked in October 2026: Strategic Alignment, Governance, Portfolio Performance, Portfolio Risk Management and Communications Management. It uses original four-option, single-best-answer questions. The mock approximates the published domain weights with 43, 34, 43, 25 and 25 questions respectively.

PMI's PfMP examination has 170 multiple-choice questions in 240 minutes, with 150 scored and 20 unscored pretest items. All questions here count toward your learning score. The course's 80% target is a study goal, not an official PMI passing score or a prediction of certification results. This course does not reproduce the exam's hidden task quotas, pretest placement or delivery interface.

This is an independent preparation course, not an official PMI product or an application service. It contains no real exam questions and makes no pass guarantee. PfMP and PMI are marks of Project Management Institute, Inc. Review PMI's current eligibility and panel-review requirements before applying.
