  • Distinguish approved changes, potential claims and disputes, and select evidence-based next steps.
  • Compare contract and delivery arrangements and coordinate dependencies across package boundaries.
  • Diagnose communication gaps using PMIS, Obeya, CbM, Compass and stakeholder feedback.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Construction decisions rarely arrive as isolated definitions. A late design input may affect an interface, a contract notice, a stakeholder commitment and the project outcome at the same time. These original practice questions ask you to identify the condition that changes the best response: who has authority, what evidence exists, which obligation applies, and what must happen before work proceeds.

Prepare for the PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP) examination using the February 2024 Examination Content Outline linked from PMI's certification page when checked on October 15, 2026. The course covers Contracts Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Strategy and Scope Management, and Project Governance.

Build judgment before testing endurance

  • Test 1: 30 questions on construction risks, risk tools and claims.
  • Test 2: 30 questions on the contract lifecycle, delivery choices and interface management.
  • Test 3: 36 questions on stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Test 4: 24 questions on strategy, scope, change and governance.
  • Tests 5 and 6: separate 120-question, 230-minute mocks, each using the published 50% / 30% / 15% / 5% domain distribution.

Every question includes an explanation of the answer, feedback for each alternative and a focused study suggestion. Cases involve scope maturity, risk allocation, probabilistic information, contractual evidence, package handoffs, PMIS, Obeya, commitment-based management and communication diagnosis. Contract-specific requirements are stated in the scenario so that you can reason from the facts instead of assuming a single jurisdiction's rules.

Use the feedback actively

Start with the focused tests and explain your choice before revealing the feedback. When you miss an item, identify whether you overlooked a condition, confused two processes or lacked the underlying knowledge. Then review that topic before attempting a timed mock. For each mock, reserve an uninterrupted session and review the alternatives you rejected as carefully as the answer you selected.

The 80% practice target is a learning aid, not PMI's passing score or a prediction of exam performance. The course uses single-best-answer questions and does not reproduce the examination interface or guarantee its exact item-format mix. It does not contain real exam questions. This is independent preparation, with no PMI affiliation, approval or endorsement. It does not replace PMI's four required foundational modules, establish eligibility or award a PMI credential or PDU credit.
