Review official exam information

Check the provider’s current objectives before booking your exam. This is independent practice material.

  • Separate route eligibility, same-prefix preference and longest-prefix forwarding decisions.
  • Diagnose OSPF and IS-IS adjacency, database and path-selection evidence.
  • Apply BGP policy and attributes after checking route validity and propagation rules.
  • Trace service provider bridge learning, Q-in-Q tag treatment and IRB relationships.
  • Choose spanning-tree roles and protection behavior for the observed event.
  • Interpret MPLS label operations and RSVP, LDP and basic SR-MPLS dependencies.
  • Check IPv6 and GRE inner/outer routes, packet-size budgets and endpoint ownership.
  • Distinguish LAG, GR, GRES, NSR, NSB, BFD and VRRP responsibilities.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence. AI assisted the drafting of practice questions, answer feedback and the cover background. The course creator reviewed the content and checked its technical basis against official materials.

Move beyond recognizing protocol names. Practice deciding which evidence matters when a route is received but unusable, a bridge service reaches the wrong handoff, or an MPLS control-plane success does not establish forwarding.

This English practice course aligns with the published JNCIS-SP JN0-364 objectives and Junos OS 25.2, checked on October 15, 2026. It contains 310 original questions in six tests, with an explanation for every answer option, a combined rationale and a targeted study tip. It does not contain recalled examination questions.

Build your judgment in four focused tests

  • Route decisions and OSPF: 45 questions on next-hop resolution, route selection, routing instances, policy, adjacency, LSAs and path calculation.
  • IS-IS and BGP: 45 questions on levels, PDUs, metrics, sessions, attributes, propagation and policy.
  • Service provider bridging and spanning tree: 45 questions on frame learning, isolated service contexts, Q-in-Q tags, IRB, tree selection and protection.
  • MPLS, IPv6, GRE and availability: 45 questions on label operations, RSVP, LDP, basic shortest-path SR-MPLS, IPv6 routing, tunnel dependencies and resilience.

Then test decisions across domains

Two different 65-question mocks combine all ten published domains. Each allows 90 minutes, matching the published examination length and time. Their domain allocation and single/multiple-answer mix are teaching choices; they do not reproduce an unpublished examination blueprint or confidential difficulty profile. The four focused tests allow 75 minutes each as a study setting.

Work through concrete changes: apply policy before comparing BGP paths, distinguish an OSPF internal route from an external import-filter case, trace a two-event MAC-learning sequence, calculate a downstream SRGB label, and separate GRE inner routes from the outer endpoint path. Multiple-answer questions state how many answers to choose.

Use the feedback to close a specific gap

Attempt a focused test first. For each missed question, identify the deciding condition, read why the tempting alternative fails, and revisit the linked official material. Take each mock with a timer before reading its feedback. A later repeat helps check your reasoning, although a remembered score is not a fresh readiness measure.

The 80% practice target is a course setting, not an official Juniper passing score or a guarantee of success. This is a question-based course, not a video lecture series or a device lab. Configuration examples were checked against documentation; they were not executed on a Junos device. Platform support and configuration style must be checked for the device you use.

The scope stays at the specialist service provider level. Advanced VPN, EVPN, multicast and SR traffic-engineering design are outside this course. This independent preparation course is not affiliated with or endorsed by Juniper Networks or HPE. Exam names and the certification badge identify the subject and do not imply instructor certification or official approval.
