  • Derive inputs for statement, decision, MC/DC and multiple condition coverage using explicit feasibility and evaluation assumptions.
  • Analyze control flow, cyclomatic complexity and definition/use/resource lifecycles without equating a metric with correctness.
  • Select and plan technical tests for security, reliability, performance, maintainability, portability and coexistence risks.
  • Apply supplied architecture and code checklists to concrete design and implementation evidence.
  • Construct business-level test keywords and evaluate automation state, interfaces, maintenance costs and results.
  • Interpret performance, web, model-based, component/build and mobile-tool evidence within its actual scope.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Build confidence in the decisions a Technical Test Analyst makes: which input reaches an uncovered path, whether a condition really changes a decision, which technical test addresses a risk, and what a tool's results actually establish.

330 original English questions combine focused training with two exam-length practice tests. Code examples use Python with explicit assumptions; other scenarios describe the relevant specification, observations or checklist. Every option has feedback, and each question includes an overall explanation and a focused study suggestion.

Six practice tests

  • Risk and white-box techniques — 60 questions: technical risk, statement and decision tests, MC/DC, multiple conditions, API behavior and technique selection.
  • Static and dynamic analysis — 60 questions: control-flow anomalies, complexity conventions, variable lifecycles, maintainability and runtime evidence.
  • Technical quality — 60 questions: non-functional plans, security, reliability, performance, maintainability, portability and coexistence.
  • Reviews, tools and automation — 60 questions: architecture and code checklists, business keywords, automation costs and state, and the capabilities of technical test tools.
  • Timed mock 1 — 45 questions in 120 minutes: apply the full chapter and learning-objective-group distribution.
  • Timed mock 2 — 45 questions in 120 minutes: work through different decision conditions across the same official distribution.

A practical study cycle

  1. Work through a focused test and explain your answer before viewing feedback.
  2. Revisit the rule behind each missed option, then trace the scenario with one changed condition.
  3. Attempt each timed mock with a fresh score and review the decisions that still need work.

The mocks follow the CTAL-TTA v4.0 question count, standard duration, chapter allocation and K2/K3/K4 distribution. 80% correct is this course's training goal. Udemy grades questions equally. The formal examination has 78 weighted points and a passing score of 51; the practice percentage does not reproduce that weighted score. Eligible non-native-language candidates may receive additional time under their examination provider's rules.

A replacement message broker has unfamiliar retry semantics; the test team also lacks a compatible load generator. Which classification is most useful?

Before you begin

  • Knowledge of Foundation Level testing concepts and practical exposure to software development or testing.
  • Ability to read short Python examples, Boolean expressions and technical specifications; no additional software purchase is needed.
  • Use the current CTAL-TTA v4.0 syllabus for terminology and learning-objective context.
  • Verify certification prerequisites, language and scheduling with your examination provider; course enrollment does not establish examination eligibility.

Who this is for

  • Testers preparing for the English CTAL-TTA v4.0 examination.
  • Technical test analysts and developers strengthening white-box and code-analysis skills.
  • QA engineers who plan non-functional tests, participate in technical reviews or maintain test automation.
