More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Prepare for the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT), syllabus v1.0 / Version 2014, with 340 original English practice questions across six tests. This course targets the Foundation extension. It does not prepare you for the Advanced Level Agile Tester certification.

Check your exam route before enrolling. ISTQB has announced that the English CTFL-AT exam and retakes remain available until 6 May 2027; non-English exams and retakes remain available until 6 November 2027. Availability and booking arrangements depend on your exam provider. ISTQB also notes that CTFL v4 already includes Agile testing basics. If you hold CTFL v4, confirm whether this extension is required or useful for your objective.

Build understanding before testing your pace

The four topic tests contain 70, 65, 60, and 65 questions. Work through Agile values and collaboration, testing workflow and evidence, test-first approaches and quality risk, then acceptance examples, black-box techniques, exploratory testing, and tools. These longer tests are training units with study timings, not replicas of the certification exam.

The final two tests each contain 40 questions with a 60-minute time limit and a 65% training pass threshold. Each follows the published chapter allocation of 13, 12, and 15 questions, the learning-objective group counts, and the K1/K2/K3 allocation of 10/22/8. Actual certification rules and any extra-time eligibility should be confirmed with your provider.

Learn from the decision, not just the answer

Every question has feedback for each option, an overall explanation, a focused study suggestion, and an official syllabus objective reference. The questions ask you to interpret incomplete evidence, preserve business constraints, choose useful test conditions, assess quality risks, and explain what a result does and does not establish. All questions in this course are single-answer multiple choice.

Use the topic tests to locate gaps, revisit the relevant syllabus sections, and then attempt the mocks without consulting the explanations. Review missed questions and correct guesses alike. Your practice score is a learning signal, not a prediction or guarantee of exam success.

This is independent preparation material. It contains original practice questions, not official or recalled exam questions. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by ISTQB. The course provides practice tests and explanations; it does not include a video lecture course, exam voucher, or certification.
