More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Acceptance testing becomes difficult when a reasonable-sounding answer overlooks a business exception, confuses a criterion with a procedure, or treats a passing test count as evidence of complete coverage. This question-based course helps you practice the judgments behind those situations: what acceptable behavior means, which conditions decide the result, and what the evidence can actually support.

Work through 320 original single-best-answer questions based on the ISTQB Certified Tester Acceptance Testing syllabus, v1.0 / Version 2019. The course focuses on collaboration between business analysts, product owners and testers in business acceptance testing, including UAT decisions and beta feedback. It includes measurable criteria, ATDD/BDD, Gherkin examples, simple private business process and business rule models, nonfunctional expectations and business release decisions.

Choose the right practice stage

  • Four focused sets of 60 questions build understanding of foundations and criteria; Gherkin and test approaches; BPMN/DMN modeling; and nonfunctional and collaborative acceptance.
  • Two different timed practice mocks contain 40 questions each, with a 60-minute timer and a 65% target, matching the published overall CT-AcT structure of 26 correct answers out of 40.
  • The focused sets use a self-defined 90-minute study timer and 75% study target. These are learning settings rather than official examination conditions.

Each question explains the correct result, why every alternative fails under the stated conditions, and which syllabus area to revisit. Scenarios include state changes, rule precedence, rejected actions, cumulative values, feasible workflow paths, workload evidence, access restrictions and unresolved business risks. Process fragments and decision tables use text representations so you can focus on their meaning; this course does not reproduce live graphical question layouts.

Use the feedback to improve your decisions

  1. Complete focused practice and identify the deciding condition before opening the explanation.
  2. Compare your reasoning with the feedback for every option, including alternatives that initially seemed plausible.
  3. Use the two timed mocks after reviewing weak areas, then return to the relevant syllabus sections rather than memorizing an answer position.

The mocks follow the published chapter distribution and K-level mix. The official detailed table repeats a chapter-3 learning-objective entry; this course retains modeling good practices in those slots and also trains visual ATDD. It does not promise identical fine-objective selection on a live examination. English CT-AcT delivery is available through the ASTQB/AT*SQA channel; official non-native-language time extensions depend on provider arrangements and are not automatically applied to these practice timers.

This is independent preparation. It is not an official or accredited ISTQB course, contains no claimed live examination questions, and does not include the certification exam or guarantee a pass. Use the official syllabus alongside practice, and confirm examination arrangements with your chosen provider.
