More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

AI governance decisions often involve more than choosing a familiar principle. You need to identify the responsible actor, distinguish legal duties from voluntary frameworks, evaluate evidence and decide what should happen before or after deployment. These practice tests help you work through those decisions.

360 questions across six tests

  • Foundations of AI governance: 40 questions.
  • AI laws, standards and frameworks: 40 questions.
  • Governing AI development: 40 questions.
  • Governing AI deployment and use: 40 questions.
  • Two mixed-domain tests: 100 questions and 165 minutes each.

The course maps to all 58 performance-indicator rows in the IAPP AIGP Body of Knowledge and Exam Blueprint v2.1, effective February 2, 2026. Questions cover organizational roles, privacy and existing law, AI-specific requirements, NIST and ISO frameworks, data and model assurance, vendor terms, monitoring, human oversight and incident response.

Learn from the reasoning

Each question includes an explanation for every option, an overall rationale and a focused study suggestion. Single-answer and explicitly labeled multiple-answer questions help you distinguish a relevant control from a superficially similar one. Work through the four domain drills first, then use the mixed tests to identify gaps across the lifecycle.

The mixed tests match the published total of 100 questions and the 165-minute pace. Their allocation is author-defined: an 85-question core fits the published domain and competency ranges, followed by 15 additional mixed-domain questions. All 100 questions receive practice credit. The current official sources reviewed do not confirm the scored/unscored split, so these tests do not reproduce undisclosed exam weighting. The 75% practice target is a learning goal, not a conversion of IAPP's scaled passing score.

Legal and framework references were checked on October 14, 2026. Scenarios distinguish applicable duties, future implementation dates and conditional exceptions. Recheck current official materials as you prepare; laws and exam scopes can change.

AI assisted question drafting, explanations and the cover background. The authoring workflow included source checks, question-by-question review and local format validation. This is not a claim of independent human expert review.

This is an independent practice course, unaffiliated with and not endorsed by IAPP. It contains original study questions rather than actual or confidential exam questions. It does not guarantee certification and complements, rather than replaces, the official Body of Knowledge and your study materials.
