More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence. AI assisted the drafting and review of the questions, explanations and page text, and the creation of the cover background. No independent human subject-matter review is claimed.

ESG decisions in procurement involve more than recognising a sustainability label. You need to weigh stakeholder evidence, distinguish promises from verified results, apply fair supplier criteria and connect corporate objectives with what happens throughout the supply chain.

Practise those decisions with 330 original questions across five tests, aligned to the updated CIPS Level 6 Version 2 syllabus for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Principles, L6M11. This is preparation for one elective module, rather than the whole Professional Diploma.

A focused route through the module

  • 70 questions: ESG culture, governance and inclusion. Work through leadership behaviours, accountable decisions, committees, practical training and ED&I.
  • 70 questions: stakeholders, reporting, sourcing and risk. Practise double materiality, SDGs, GRI and SASB, useful KPIs, selection conditions, contract follow-up and risk mitigation.
  • 70 questions: ESG strategy, innovation and measurable value. Apply collaboration, circularity, visibility, carbon calculations, functional specifications and social-value measurement.
  • Two separate 60-question timed mocks. Each has 35 standalone questions, two ten-question cases and one five-question case, with a 90-minute limit and a 70% practice target.

The mocks use different decision conditions, including supplier eligibility, recovery performance, verified remediation, learner outcomes and overlapping emissions boundaries. Case information is included with each question so that you can answer it without searching for another screen.

Learn from the reasoning

Each question includes a condition-based explanation, feedback for every option and a focused study tip. The calculation questions state the units, factors and assumptions you need. Policy and reporting scenarios distinguish relevant evidence from unsupported claims.

Use the three focused tests to identify gaps first. Review why each rejected option fails under the given conditions, then attempt a mock without consulting the feedback. Afterward, revisit weak decisions rather than memorising answer positions. The focused tests use a suggested 105-minute training limit; they are longer than the official module exam.

These are independently written practice questions, not official CIPS questions or confidential examination material. Matching-style tasks are practised through complete combinations that you select. The actual examination can use different matching interactions and may not state the number of correct responses. The course does not reproduce the examination software, guarantee a pass, confer the qualification or imply CIPS endorsement. The scope was checked against the official material on 14 October 2026; examination booking, eligibility and available appointments are managed by CIPS. This English practice course makes no claim about an exclusive official examination language.
