  • Interpret the approved project outcome and adapt team decisions when evidence, assumptions, or stakeholder needs change.
  • Choose proportionate actions for team conflict, leadership, engagement, knowledge transfer, and communication.
  • Distinguish delivery progress from benefits, value, acceptance, and operational readiness.
  • Reason through scope, schedule, cost, quality, procurement, and risk decisions under stated governance constraints.
  • Assess compliance, organizational change, sustainability, and external influences without bypassing decision authority.
  • Compare predictive, adaptive, and hybrid approaches using project uncertainty and delivery conditions.
  • Explain why a plausible alternative fails the specific case rather than memorizing a process slogan.
More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

The revised PMP exam asks you to make project decisions in context. A team may understand its delivery plan but disagree about the intended outcome. A metric may look healthy while customer value falls. A proposed shortcut may save time but cross an approval or safety boundary. These practice questions make you identify the condition that changes the next action.

How the practice is organized

  • Three focused tests develop decisions in People, Process, and Business Environment.
  • Two full-length mixed tests bring the three domains together across predictive, adaptive, and hybrid project settings. Each mock has 180 questions and a 240-minute course timer.
  • Feedback for each answer choice explains why an action fits or fails the facts, with a study prompt and sources for further reading.

The questions use short cases, written data, and trade-offs to practice judgment. They address the PMP Examination Content Outline effective July 9, 2026, including its emphasis on outcomes and value, stakeholder engagement, governance, change, and the project's wider environment. AI, sustainability, and other contemporary topics appear where they affect an actual project decision.

A useful revision routine

Take a focused test first. For a missed question, write down the decisive constraint: the approved outcome, the authority to decide, the people affected, the evidence available, or the consequence of waiting. Read the feedback on your selected option as well as the correct one. Then use the mixed tests to practice switching among domains and delivery approaches without relying on a repeated answer phrase.

The official PMP exam has 180 questions and 240 minutes. This course's mixed tests use those totals for pacing, but the platform's single- and multiple-choice format does not reproduce every official computer-based interaction or the exam's two scheduled breaks. The course's 80% review target is an author-set study signal, not PMI's passing score. These are independent practice questions, not official exam questions; this course is not sponsored or endorsed by PMI. It does not award PMP application training hours or PDUs.

Choose one answer1 of 3

A predictive project has an approved feature baseline. At a review, the sponsor describes success as shorter customer wait times, while the delivery leads describe success as shipping every listed feature. No agreed measure links those features to the wait-time outcome, and the sponsor has not requested a scope change. What should the project manager do first?
