  • Distinguish AI, machine learning and deep learning, and compare training with inference.
  • Match NVIDIA software and infrastructure solutions to their actual responsibilities.
  • Evaluate GPU and host resource budgets, scaling limits and deployment constraints.
  • Interpret data-center power, cooling, installation and service-access requirements.
  • Compare cluster data paths, high-speed fabrics, RDMA concepts and DPU offload.
  • Diagnose GPU monitoring and scheduling evidence without overclaiming a root cause.
  • Check MIG capacity, guest software and configuration-specific virtualization support.
  • Practise the published NCA-AIIO domain scope in two 50-question timed mocks.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Build confidence in the decisions behind an accelerated AI environment. These original practice tests help you connect AI concepts and NVIDIA software roles with GPU capacity, data-center facilities, cluster networking and day-to-day operations.

The course follows the published NVIDIA-Certified Associate: AI Infrastructure and Operations (NCA-AIIO) scope and the official Jan26 study guide, checked on October 11, 2026. It focuses on the associate exam's three domains: Essential AI Knowledge, AI Infrastructure and AI Operations.

What is included

  • 340 original single-answer questions across six tests.
  • Four focused practice tests with 60 questions each and a suggested 90-minute training limit.
  • Two separate timed mocks with 50 questions each and a 60-minute limit.
  • Each mock allocates 19 questions to Essential AI Knowledge, 20 to AI Infrastructure and 11 to AI Operations, matching the published domain percentages.
  • Feedback for every answer option, a worked explanation and a focused study tip, with supplementary official documentation where useful.

Expect questions about model and runtime compatibility, training state, CPU/GPU work, memory budgets, scaling limits, power and cooling, storage dependencies, RDMA and fabric choices, DPU offload, GPU telemetry, scheduling and virtualization. Scenarios ask you to use stated constraints and interpret evidence. Numerical examples supply their assumptions; they do not prescribe universal hardware specifications.

How to study

Start with the four focused tests, review both correct and incorrect choices, and revisit the documentation for weak areas. Then use the two mocks to practise making decisions under time pressure. An 80% score is an author-defined study target, not NVIDIA's official passing threshold.

This is a practice-question course for learners with basic data-center knowledge. It does not include hardware labs or replace hands-on infrastructure experience. Mock question count, duration and domain allocation follow public information; the question style is independently designed and does not claim to reproduce confidential exam items.

AI assistance was used to draft and refine questions and explanations. This independent course is not affiliated with, endorsed by or an official product of NVIDIA. It contains original practice questions, not actual exam questions, and does not guarantee certification.
