  • Translate business requirements into measurable Claude architecture and completion contracts.
  • Select workflow, agentic, and augmented-LLM patterns from the actual control-flow requirements.
  • Evaluate model, prompt, context, caching, and Skill choices without confusing capability with authority.
  • Design tool, retrieval, and integration boundaries that preserve identity, evidence, and execution semantics.
  • Interpret quality, latency, cost, experiment, and telemetry evidence using the right population and outcome.
  • Assess guardrails, human oversight, privacy responsibilities, and fairness evidence within a defined system.
  • Plan stakeholder alignment, implementation handoff, recovery, and Claude Code team operations.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Knowing what Claude can do is only part of an architect’s job. You also need to decide where its output can be trusted, which component must enforce a constraint, and whether an apparent improvement survives the complete business workflow. These practice tests help you rehearse those decisions for the Claude Certified Architect – Professional (CCAR-P) scope.

Work through 366 original questions in six tests. The scenarios supply concrete requirements, observations, and failure evidence so you can distinguish a supported design from an attractive but unjustified shortcut. You will compare model and prompt choices, follow tool and data boundaries, diagnose retrieval and evaluation failures, and assess the operating consequences of a proposed change.

Build confidence in focused steps

  • Architecture, Models & Context — 60 questions: translate business needs, select control-flow patterns, coordinate agents, and preserve useful task state.
  • Tools, Retrieval & Integrations — 60 questions: examine capability catalogs, authorization, retrieval shape, indexing, and progressive discovery.
  • Evaluation, Safety & Governance — 60 questions: interpret metrics, design defensible experiments, diagnose failures, and assess oversight and compliance boundaries.
  • Delivery, Stakeholders & Team Operations — 60 questions: clarify commitments, document decisions, plan lifecycle changes, and reason about Claude Code environments.
  • Mock Exam 1 — 63 questions: combine all seven domains in a 120-minute practice format.
  • Mock Exam 2 — 63 questions: tackle a second set of cross-domain decisions with different governing conditions.

Every question includes feedback for each option, an overall explanation, and a targeted study tip. Explanations show why a tempting alternative fails under the supplied contract: a schema can be valid while the facts are wrong; a cache can save processing without removing context; a rollback can be compatible while restoring a known control defect. Both single-answer and multiple-answer questions are included, with the required selection count stated for multiple-answer items.

Turn mistakes into a study plan

  1. Start with the focused set closest to your weakest area. Choose an answer before reading its explanation.
  2. For each miss, write down the decisive constraint or evidence you overlooked, then review the linked learning material where provided.
  3. Attempt a full mock under the 120-minute limit. Review uncertain correct answers as carefully as wrong ones.
  4. Revisit the affected topic and explain why each alternative would require a different condition to become valid.

The scope follows the official Professional Exam Guide v1.0, effective July 2026, checked in October 2026. Mock length and timing follow the published 63-question, 120-minute format; their domain counts are our approximate practice allocation. The 80% practice target is a learning goal and does not convert to the official 720 scaled passing score.

This is an independent practice-test course, not an official Anthropic product or a collection of live exam questions. It provides question practice rather than video lessons or a live lab, and it does not promise an exam result. Hypothetical prices, budgets, and thresholds are identified as scenario assumptions rather than vendor guarantees.

A distributor wants Claude to produce shipment ETA explanations. The only available feed contains yesterday’s warehouse scans, while customers require current carrier events. What should the architect resolve before prototyping the explanation service?

Before you begin

  • Familiarity with LLM applications, APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, and basic system design.
  • Ability to read English technical scenarios and perform simple arithmetic.
  • A Claude subscription or paid API access is not required for these question-based tests.

Who this is for

  • Architects preparing for the Claude Certified Architect – Professional certification.
  • Engineers responsible for enterprise Claude integrations, evaluation, and operational reliability.
  • Technical leads who need to explain AI design trade-offs and govern system delivery.
