  • Choose resource hierarchy, networking and IAM boundaries for governed Google Cloud environments.
  • Design CI/CD gates, progressive releases and recovery using artifact, test and runtime evidence.
  • Distinguish secrets, configuration, federation, vulnerability scanning and trusted attestations.
  • Calculate SLO budgets and select capacity or incident actions that protect user outcomes.
  • Diagnose logs, metrics, traces and telemetry gaps without overclaiming what the data proves.
  • Evaluate performance and cost changes while preserving workload and reliability requirements.

More about this course

Prepare for Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer with 360 original practice questions across six tests. Work through four focused tests, then apply the ideas in two mixed mock exams. Questions ask you to choose a response using deployment constraints, user impact, security boundaries and diagnostic evidence.

A clear practice path

  • Organization foundations and developer environments: 60 questions.
  • Pipelines, continuous testing and supply chain security: 70 questions.
  • SRE objectives, capacity and incident mitigation: 50 questions.
  • Observability, troubleshooting, performance and cost: 60 questions.
  • Mixed mock exam 1: 60 questions in 120 minutes.
  • Mixed mock exam 2: 60 questions in 120 minutes.

Every question includes feedback for each option, an overall explanation and a focused review tip. Single-answer questions and select-two questions are explicitly identified. Review why a plausible alternative fails the stated requirement before repeating a test.

Current scope and realistic boundaries

The course follows the English exam guide linked from Google's certification page, checked on October 10, 2026. It covers the five domains: organization foundations (20%), pipelines and continuous testing (25%), SRE (18%), observability and troubleshooting (25%), and performance and cost (12%). Each mock uses an author-rounded distribution of 12, 15, 11, 15 and 7 questions. These are practice allocations, not official per-test quotas.

Practice includes infrastructure as code, Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy, hybrid delivery, ML release checks, workload identity, secrets and attestations, SLO calculations, autoscaling, log routing, tracing, incident recovery and cost tradeoffs. AI-assisted operations questions require validating the evidence behind a recommendation.

The official exam lists 50–60 questions and a two-hour duration. The mocks use the upper end of that range. 80% is a study target set for this course, not a published Google passing score. These are original practice scenarios; they do not reproduce or predict live exam questions and do not guarantee certification.

This course is independently produced by BrightRung Learning and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. AI assisted with drafting and editing; the course creator reviewed the questions and explanations against the stated scenarios and relevant documentation. No cloud lab execution, independent professional validation or measured pass-rate study is claimed.
