Review official exam information

Check the provider’s current objectives before booking your exam. This is independent practice material.

  • Apply numerical relationships while checking bases, units and the order of operations.
  • Infer consistent patterns and combine stated constraints in nonverbal reasoning tasks.
  • Compare patterns precisely and distinguish rotations, reflections and position changes.
  • Use timed practice and answer feedback to select specific skills for further review.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Small differences in a diagram, an overlooked comparison base or a reversed spatial transformation can change an answer. This independent practice course focuses on the nonverbal cognitive skills associated with the Criteria Universal Cognitive Aptitude Test, with English instructions and explanations.

Build a clear solving method

Work through numerical relationships, structured reasoning, exact pattern comparisons and spatial transformations. Use the answer explanations to identify the step that changed the result, then solve the item again without looking at the solution. The feedback distinguishes common errors such as applying a percentage to the wrong base, following only one part of a pattern, or treating a reflection as a rotation.

Move from focused practice to timed work

  • Start with numerical reasoning practice to strengthen arithmetic, proportions and multi-step comparisons.
  • Continue with logic and analysis tasks that require consistent rules and complete use of the given information.
  • Practise attention to detail and spatial reasoning by checking features, positions and transformations carefully.
  • Use the three format simulations for a 40-question, 20-minute practice session, then review both incorrect answers and slow correct answers.

The course contains 200 focused practice questions and 120 simulation questions across six tests. The simulations use an independently designed balance of the four public skill areas. Their timing and length follow the public Criteria UCAT specification; they do not reproduce secure assessment items, official domain weights or the exact live testing interface.

Use your results constructively

A practice percentage helps you choose what to review. It is not a Criteria percentile, a validated readiness estimate or a hiring threshold. Employers make their own decisions, and candidates should follow the instructions in their actual assessment invitation for permitted tools and navigation.

This course concerns the Criteria Universal Cognitive Aptitude Test used in recruitment. It does not prepare you for the University Clinical Aptitude Test used in medical admissions. It is independently created and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supplied by Criteria Corp. No score or employment outcome is guaranteed.
