More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A control can be documented, implemented, assessed and authorized at different points in its lifecycle. CGRC preparation requires knowing which evidence and decision belong at each point. These practice tests help you distinguish adjacent GRC activities and apply them to information-system scenarios.

Practice across all seven CGRC domains. The questions follow the publicly available ISC2 CGRC exam outline effective June 15, 2024: governance and compliance programs; system scope; control selection and approval; implementation; assessment and audit; system compliance; and compliance maintenance.

The course contains 320 original English questions in six tests:

  • Five mixed-domain practice sets with 39 questions each, designed for shorter study sessions.
  • One full-length objective mock with 125 questions and a 180-minute limit.
  • An explanation for every answer option, a scenario-based overall explanation and an objective reference for further study.

You will work through control inheritance, hybrid responsibilities, security and privacy requirements, assessment evidence, risk response, authorization conditions, monitoring and decommissioning. Scenarios include supplier changes and AI data-processing dependencies where they illustrate the public domain objectives.

How to use the tests

Complete the shorter sets first. Review why the neighboring actions are unsuitable under the stated conditions. Then attempt the mock without consulting explanations, and use its objective references to target your next study session.

The mock uses rounded domain proportions based on the public outline. The official exam lists multiple-choice and advanced item types; this course provides objective multiple-choice practice and does not reproduce every advanced interaction. The 75% course target is a self-study benchmark. It is not a conversion to ISC2's official passing score of 700 out of 1000.

This is independent preparation material, not an official ISC2 course. It contains no recalled or claimed live exam questions. ISC2 and CGRC are marks of their respective owner. No certification, endorsement or passing result is promised.
