More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Knowing the terminology is only the beginning. In COBIT Foundation preparation, closely related objectives can sound equally plausible: governance of risk versus risk management, incident recovery versus problem analysis, and a completed project versus realized business value. These practice questions help you use the conditions in the question to choose and explain the appropriate answer.

Version notice: This course covers COBIT 2019 Foundation, the version available when checked on 10 October 2026. ISACA has announced COBIT 7 for 27 October 2026. The announced last purchase date for the COBIT 2019 Foundation exam is 26 October 2026, and its last examination date is 26 April 2027. This course does not cover COBIT 7. Confirm your examination version and eligibility with ISACA before planning your study.

What is included

  • Framework and Principles: 40 questions.
  • Governance System and Components: 65 questions.
  • Governance and Management Objectives: 55 questions.
  • Performance, Design and Implementation: 50 questions.
  • Mock Exam 1: 75 questions, 120 minutes.
  • Mock Exam 2: 75 questions, 120 minutes.

All 360 questions have a correct answer, an explanation for each option, an overall rationale and a focused study tip. The questions combine essential concept checks with original business situations involving priorities, information flows, accountability, risk and evidence. The four topic tests support targeted study. The two mixed mocks use rounded allocations of the official eight domain weights and the official 75-question, two-hour format. The practice passing setting is 65%; a practice result is not a prediction or guarantee of an official result.

A practical study sequence

  1. Attempt a topic test and note which decision condition you missed.
  2. Read the feedback for every option, including options you did not select.
  3. Review that concept in your COBIT study materials and explain how a changed condition could change the answer.
  4. Take the first mock without notes. Use the second mock for a fresh timed check after addressing your gaps.

This is an independent practice-question course. It is not an official ISACA course, does not include confidential or recalled examination questions, and does not provide an exam voucher or certification. The course supports Foundation preparation; it does not replace the official publications or prepare you for the separate Design & Implementation examination.
