Overview
What you’ll practice
Check the provider’s current objectives before booking your exam. This is independent practice material.
- Distinguish digital products, services, offerings, goods, actions, and access to resources.
- Reason about value co-creation, outputs and outcomes, cost and risk, service quality, and relationship roles.
- Apply the four dimensions and external factors to an end-to-end service situation.
- Identify the purposes of the eight iterative product and service lifecycle activities.
- Use guiding principles, governance, management practices, the value chain, and continual improvement concepts in short scenarios.
- Distinguish core and enabling value streams, value stream mapping, and complexity contexts.
- Recognize AI governance boundaries, the six AI Capability Model functions, and ITIL's complementarity with DevOps and PRINCE2.
- Review your choices with explanations and documentation before taking two timed mixed mocks.
More about this course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
ITIL Foundation (Version 5) uses familiar service-management words in specific ways. An output is not automatically an outcome; a service relationship involves more than a supplier and a contract; and an activity in the product and service lifecycle is not a fixed project phase. These practice tests help you make those distinctions from short, concrete situations.
What is included
- 324 original questions across six tests: four focused sets covering concepts and relationships, the four dimensions and lifecycle, the ITIL Value System, and value streams, AI, and complementary frameworks; followed by two mixed mocks.
- Two 40-question, 60-minute mixed mocks: each follows the official seven-category allocation of 12/4/4/16/2/1/1 and the Foundation Level 1/2 allocation of 16/24.
- Feedback on every answer choice: see why the correct choice fits the decisive condition and why each alternative does not, with a study suggestion and source links.
- Version 5 terminology: practice the current product and service lifecycle, value-chain language, continual improvement model, AI governance, and the ITIL AI Capability Model.
How to use the tests
Start with the focused sets. When an answer is wrong, read its feedback and identify which word or condition changed the result. Then use the linked source to revise that topic. Move to the mixed mocks when you can distinguish concepts without relying on the topic heading.
The official Foundation exam is closed book, has 40 questions and a 60-minute limit, and requires 26 correct answers to pass. The mixed mocks use those counts and time. Focused tests are longer revision sets and use a separate author-set 75% review target. A practice result is a study signal, not a prediction of certification success.
All questions are four-option, single-response items. Some use the exam's missing-word or list style, but the course does not reproduce a live PeopleCert exam or its interface. This independent course contains original practice material and is not sponsored or endorsed by PeopleCert.
