More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

AI security management decisions rarely stop at naming a threat. You need to decide who may accept a risk, whether an approval covers a changed use, which trust boundary must enforce a restriction, and what evidence makes a release or recovery decision defensible. This independent English practice course helps you rehearse those decisions for ISACA Advanced in AI Security Management (AAISM).

The 320 original questions follow the current publicly available AAISM outline checked in October 2026: AI Governance and Program Management, AI Risk Management, and AI Technologies and Controls. Scenarios connect business purpose, data handling, model behavior, supplier dependencies and operational authority. Each question has one best answer, an explanation of the decision rule, feedback for every option and a focused review suggestion.

Start with focused practice

  • 44 governance and program questions: responsibilities, policy boundaries, asset lifecycle, assurance, incident response and business continuity.
  • 44 risk questions: risk treatment and acceptance, threat mechanisms, testing assumptions and vendor or supply-chain evidence.
  • 52 technology and control questions: authorization, evaluation design, data quality, privacy, human oversight, output handling and monitoring.

Use these sets to identify the condition that makes an answer appropriate. Review why a plausible alternative fails, then explain what would have to change for that alternative to become suitable.

Apply your learning in two full-length mocks

Each mock contains 90 questions with a 150-minute time limit. Each uses 28 governance, 28 risk and 34 technology questions, an integer approximation of the published 31% / 31% / 38% domain weights. The mocks include integrated scenarios and selected calculations, such as detection measures, risk limits and resource budgets. The course's 75% practice target is author-selected; it is not an ISACA scaled score, official passing conversion or prediction of exam success.

Complete the focused sets first, take a mock without consulting explanations, and review your uncertain choices as carefully as your incorrect ones. Before using the second mock, revisit the relevant concepts and write your own explanation of the controlling constraint.

This course provides practice tests rather than video lessons or access to an official question database. It contains independently written material and does not reproduce confidential exam items. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by ISACA. Check current eligibility, scheduling and exam rules directly with ISACA; the credential requires an active CISM or CISSP. Course participation does not grant certification or establish exam eligibility.
