  • Distinguish data authenticity, integrity, representativeness, privacy and appropriate use.
  • Assess lifecycle, change, validation, monitoring and recovery controls for AI systems.
  • Recognize AI attack paths and evaluate external authorization boundaries.
  • Plan risk-based AI audits and assess sampling, evidence and analytic limitations.
  • Write conclusions and action plans that match the actual scope of evidence.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

An AI control can exist on paper and still fail in operation. An accurate model can also be unsuitable for a new decision, population or workflow. These practice tests help you examine the evidence, identify the missing control and choose a conclusion that the facts actually support.

The course contains 324 original English questions across six tests. Four 36-question focused tests build judgment in governance, data, model lifecycle controls and audit evidence. Two 90-question mock exams bring those decisions together under a 150-minute time limit. Every question has one best answer, feedback for each option and a short explanation.

What the questions cover

  • AI governance, ownership, strategic fit, risk acceptance, ethics, privacy and supplier responsibilities.
  • Data lineage, labeling, validation, configuration changes, human oversight, monitoring, AI-specific threats and incident recovery.
  • Audit planning, sampling, evidence reliability, analytics, findings and the limits of assurance.

The structure follows the current public AAIA outline checked on 16 October 2026: AI Governance and Risk (33%), AI Operations (46%), and AI Auditing Tools and Techniques (21%). Each mock uses 30, 41 and 19 questions respectively, a practical rounding of those weights. These are original practice scenarios, not official examination questions.

How to use the tests

Take the focused tests first. For each missed question, identify the deciding condition and explain why the closest alternative fails. Then attempt each mock in one sitting and review both incorrect answers and correct guesses. Look for recurring weaknesses in evidence quality, control purpose, scope and professional judgment.

The 80% practice target is a learning checkpoint, not a conversion to the official score. ISACA reports a 200–800 scaled score with a passing threshold of 450; a practice percentage cannot predict that score. Question length and difficulty may differ from the live examination.

This is an independent preparation resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by ISACA. AAIA and related marks belong to their respective owners. The course does not grant certification, satisfy eligibility requirements or guarantee an examination result. Check current eligibility and delivery rules with ISACA before booking. Course content is in English; availability of other examination languages is a separate matter.
