More about this course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
Remembering a definition is only the first step in SIE preparation. The harder part is deciding who receives cash, which party has an obligation, whether a customer has granted authority, or which rule applies when the facts change. These 390 original English practice questions help you work through those decisions with explanations for every answer option.
Build understanding before testing your pace
Use four focused tests to identify gaps and strengthen the reasoning behind your answers:
- Capital Markets and Regulatory Responsibilities: 60 questions on market participants, economic factors, offerings, registration and employee responsibilities.
- Equities, Debt and Options: 60 questions on ownership rights, bond cash flows and yields, option rights, obligations and strategy outcomes.
- Funds, Alternative Products and Investment Risk: 60 questions on fund pricing and expenses, 529 and ABLE accounts, DPPs, REITs, private funds, ETFs, ETNs and risk.
- Trading, Customer Accounts and Prohibited Activities: 60 questions on orders, returns, settlement, account authority, AML, records, communications and prohibited conduct.
Each focused test has a 90-minute practice setting. You can review the question conditions, compare the alternatives and use the included study tip to revisit the underlying concept before retaking it.
Apply the knowledge in two timed mocks
Each mock contains 75 questions with a 105-minute setting, using the official scored-domain allocation of 12 / 33 / 23 / 7. They test additional conditions and calculations, including partial subscriptions, net option cash flows, account permissions, reporting deadlines and regulatory exceptions.
The real SIE session contains 80 items: 75 scored questions and five unmarked unscored items. These training mocks omit those five pretest items, and every local question counts. The course's 70% practice threshold is a learning checkpoint; it does not reproduce FINRA's equated scoring or predict an official result.
Learn from the whole answer
Every question includes the correct answer, an overall explanation, feedback on all four options and a study tip. Calculations distinguish such items as premium from profit, par from market price, cash distribution from taxable allocation, and nominal from real return. Rule questions specify relevant conditions rather than treating an exception as universal permission.
The course follows FINRA's currently linked 2025 SIE content outline. Rules were checked on October 14, 2026, including T+1 settlement, the current FINRA business-gift limit and the intraday margin transition. Review official updates close to your exam date.
This is independent practice material, not FINRA-approved or endorsed training. It contains original questions rather than recalled live exam items and makes no pass guarantee. Passing SIE alone does not authorize securities business: applicable qualification examinations, firm association and registration remain separate requirements. Use the tests alongside introductory study of the official SIE topics.
