  • Distinguish service provider transport, software, virtualization and security responsibilities.
  • Diagnose IS-IS, OSPF and BGP adjacency, advertisement, policy and path-selection problems.
  • Trace MPLS labels, TE constraints, local repair, SR policies and SRv6 endpoint behavior.
  • Evaluate VPN route distribution, Ethernet service behavior, multicast trees and QoS decisions.
  • Interpret REST scripts and modeled operations, and diagnose telemetry, flow-export and SNMP failures.
  • Use option feedback to identify the condition that changes an otherwise familiar decision.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A routing session can be up while the required prefix is absent. A VPN route can arrive while the customer VRF cannot import it. A telemetry connection can succeed while the collector cannot decode the records. These practice tests help you identify the decisive evidence at each stage, instead of treating one healthy status as proof that the whole service works.

Prepare for 350-501 SPCOR v1.1 with 336 original English questions across six tests. Work through service provider architecture and security, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, IPv6 transition, MPLS and traffic engineering, segment routing and SRv6, VPN and Ethernet services, multicast, QoS, and automation and assurance.

A clear practice path

  • Architecture and security: 54 questions on transport, software, virtualization, QoS models and protection boundaries.
  • Routing and resilience: 66 questions on adjacency, advertisement, route selection, policy, IPv6 transition and availability.
  • MPLS and segment routing: 48 questions on labels, TE resources, local repair, segment instructions, PCE and SRv6.
  • Services and automation: 48 questions on VPNs, Ethernet, multicast, QoS, modeled APIs and monitoring.
  • Two mixed tests: 60 questions each, with 120 minutes and the published domain weight split of 15/30/20/20/15.

Every question includes a correct answer, feedback for each option, an overall explanation, and a focused review suggestion. Scenarios include configuration fragments, packet and route evidence, simple resource calculations, and diagnosis of failed control or forwarding stages. Platform-specific fragments identify IOS XR or IOS XE so you can apply the appropriate semantics.

Start with the topic tests to find weak areas. Read the explanation even when your answer is correct, and explain why the alternatives fail under the stated conditions. Then attempt a mixed test without notes. Review your missed rules before taking the other mixed test; use fresh reasoning rather than remembering an answer position.

The 80% practice target, question counts and topic-test time limits are course settings. Cisco does not publish a fixed passing score or question count for SPCOR. These selected-response tests supplement your study and device labs; they do not reproduce performance-based lab items or provide a device simulator.

This is independent exam preparation, unaffiliated with Cisco. Questions are original practice tasks, not actual exam questions. Cisco and its certification names are trademarks of their respective owners. No exam pass or certification outcome is guaranteed.

Choose one answer1 of 3

A carrier P router switches MPLS traffic between two PEs. It has no customer VRFs. Which information must it normally use to carry an L3VPN packet across this core?

Before you begin

  • Working knowledge of IP addressing, routing fundamentals and basic Cisco configuration terminology.
  • Prior study of the SPCOR topics; these practice tests are a review resource rather than a lecture course.
  • A separate supported lab environment is helpful for implementation practice, but is not required to answer the questions.

Who this is for

  • Candidates preparing for the English 350-501 SPCOR core exam for CCNP or CCIE Service Provider.
  • Service provider engineers reviewing core and edge routing, labels, VPNs and assurance.
  • Learners who want to improve diagnosis by separating session, route, label and service evidence.
