  • Distinguish threats, vulnerability severity and operational risk, including AI/LLM and cryptographic trust boundaries.
  • Evaluate Layer 2 safeguards, AAA, secure management, FTD rules and VPN failure stages from supplied evidence.
  • Compare cloud responsibility and enforcement models, and interpret Splunk HEC and DevSecOps configuration choices.
  • Apply Secure Access internet/private policy conditions, DLP controls and destination-intelligence evidence.
  • Interpret endpoint posture, malware events and email-security actions without confusing detection with remediation.
  • Evaluate ISE, Duo, exfiltration and XDR/SOAR decisions using identity, scope, permissions and verified outcomes.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Prepare for the 350-701 SCOR v2.0 scope by practicing the decisions behind enterprise security controls. Work through 336 original English questions across six tests, with an explanation for every answer option and a focused study tip for every question.

The questions ask you to identify the relevant evidence, choose a scoped configuration, distinguish authentication from authorization, and locate a failure in its actual processing stage. Scenarios include a trusted certificate with the wrong identity, a firewall rule that bypasses inspection, a private application with a working connector but an unreachable service, and a detection whose response action has not succeeded.

Four focused tests

  • Security concepts: threats, vulnerabilities, AI/LLM risks, cryptography, VPN models, intelligence, zero trust and Python/API interpretation.
  • Network security: Layer 2 safeguards, AAA, secure management, FTD policy processing and VPN configuration or troubleshooting.
  • Cloud security and Secure Access: shared responsibility, cloud models, Multicloud Defense, Secure Workload, Splunk HEC, DevSecOps, internet/private access, DLP and Investigate.
  • Endpoint and access security: EPP/EDR, inventory, posture, malware analysis, Secure Endpoint, Email Threat Defense, ISE, Duo, exfiltration and response automation.

Each focused test contains 54 questions. Two Timed Mixed Practice tests contain 60 questions each and use a 120-minute limit. Each mixed test follows the six-domain weight distribution of 20%, 25%, 15%, 10%, 15% and 15%. The 60-question length and 80% practice target are course settings; Cisco does not publish a fixed SCOR question count or passing score on the referenced exam page.

A practical review routine

  1. Attempt a focused test and record the decision you found difficult.
  2. Read every option's feedback, including the alternatives you ruled out.
  3. Use the study tip and linked documentation to revisit the relevant rule.
  4. Attempt a mixed test under the timer and explain your reasoning before repeating it.

This is independent practice material aligned to the v2.0 blueprint checked in October 2026. It is not an official Cisco course, and it does not reproduce live exam questions. Selection questions and configuration-reading exercises support study; they do not replace hands-on equipment practice or simulate the exam's possible performance-based labs. No equipment or paid product account is required to attempt these tests.
