  • Distinguish Management HA server identities and states, and plan synchronization and collision recovery.
  • Choose Dynamic and Updatable Objects and trace manual NAT and management control connections.
  • Analyze Site-to-Site VPN domains, external peer trust, tunnel sharing and redundant link behavior.
  • Diagnose SmartEvent log-to-event flow and interpret Compliance criteria, scope and results.
  • Separate supported gateway upgrade methods and CDT preparation, installation and recovery stages.
  • Plan management database migration, validate address mappings and check post-import functions.
  • Evaluate ElasticXL architecture, onboarding, site roles, platform support and operating limits.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence. Knowing a feature name is different from deciding what to change when management peers disagree, a VPN backup path fails or a migration imports successfully but cannot install policy. This course develops those decisions through 300 original CCSE R82 practice questions. It contains AI-assisted questions and explanations.

The course targets Check Point Certified Security Expert R82, exam 156-315.82, and follows the seven modules in the public R82 training objectives and Exam Prep Guide. It builds on administrator-level knowledge rather than repeating a complete CCSA course.

Start with focused practice

  • Management HA and advanced policy: server roles, synchronization, collision recovery, objects, manual NAT and Management behind NAT.
  • Site-to-Site VPN: community design, peer authentication, tunnel evidence, Enhanced and Legacy Link Selection, and sharing settings.
  • Monitoring and gateway upgrades: SmartEvent log flow, correlation, Compliance, supported upgrade methods and CDT stages.
  • Migration and ElasticXL: export/import preparation, address mapping, validation, member onboarding, site roles and supported limits.

Each focused test contains 25 questions with a custom 35-minute timer. Use these four tests to identify gaps and explain why each alternative fails before moving on.

Apply the knowledge in two mixed mocks

Each mixed mock contains 100 original questions in 90 minutes, matching the public exam guide's standard question count and duration. Both cover all seven modules. Their module distributions are independently designed because no exact public module weights are provided. The 70% training threshold supports your review routine; a course score does not predict an official result. Any official timing accommodation depends on the exam provider's eligibility rules.

Every question includes the answer, feedback for every option, a reasoning explanation and a study tip. Scenarios distinguish policy publication from installation, authentication from traffic selectors, package staging from installation, and approved cluster membership from completed onboarding. Review the condition that changed the decision rather than memorizing an answer position.

These are practice tests with text explanations, not a video course or a hosted lab. Command and configuration examples were checked against public documentation; they have not been run on a Check Point appliance. Continue your preparation with the current official guides and hands-on experience where available.

This independently produced course is not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by Check Point or Pearson VUE. It does not contain official exam questions and makes no certification or pass guarantee. Certification names and marks identify the subject being studied.
