More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Prepare for ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) decision questions by working through security management cases with explicit business constraints. This English practice-test course contains 350 original four-option, single-best-answer questions: five focused tests of 25 questions each, followed by one 225-question mixed-domain mock.

The focused tests help you identify why a familiar security measure may fail under a different requirement. You will compare risk treatments, interpret costs and performance evidence, define investigation boundaries, protect personnel, evaluate physical systems, manage information and coordinate crisis response. Cases include lifecycle budgets, evidence handling, supplier responsibilities, alarm assessment, recovery dependencies and the distinction between field command and EOC support.

A practical review sequence

  1. Complete the five focused tests to locate weak decisions. Each has a suggested 45-minute limit; start untimed when learning a topic.
  2. Review the explanation for the correct answer and the feedback for every alternative. Use the study tip to name the concept you need to revisit.
  3. Take the 225-question mock in 240 minutes to practise sustained pacing across all seven domains.
  4. Revisit uncertain decisions in the official study references before repeating a test. An improved score is most useful when you can explain the changed decision.

What the mock represents

The mock uses an author-rounded distribution of the published CPP domain weights: Security Principles and Practices, Business Principles and Practices, Investigations, Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Security and Crisis Management. The scope was checked against ASIS public materials on 11 October 2026. This is task-based practice with representative knowledge points, rather than exhaustive instruction in every reference-book detail.

All 225 mock questions count toward your practice result. The real CPP examination has 200 scored and 25 unscored questions. The course's 80% review target is author-set and is not a conversion of the official 650 scaled passing score. These are original practice items, not recalled examination questions or a pass guarantee.

Use this course alongside the current ASIS Body of Knowledge and recommended references. It does not include Protection of Assets or the full paid ASIS standards. Where a case supplies a company policy, contract term or numerical assumption, apply that stated condition; do not treat it as a universal legal rule. Jurisdiction-specific examples identify the applicable context, such as US screening requirements or GDPR principles.
