About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A report can look right while its joins multiply facts, and a refresh can leave the historical partition you need unchanged. These PL-300 Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst practice tests help you connect data preparation, model behaviour and secure delivery with the actual business requirement.

Trace the data and the evaluation context

Practise Power Query, semantic modelling, DAX, visualisation, analysis, Copilot-related choices, service management and security. Questions distinguish a relationship's appearance from its filter effect, a display choice from the calculation behind it and workspace access from the permissions still applying to a model.

Every option receives feedback, with an overall explanation and study guidance. DAX UNION combines columns by position, for example, so matching names alone does not align their meaning. Use the explanations to identify the projection, grain, context or access assumption that changes the answer.

The 440 questions comprise four focused banks and two 50-question mocks with 100-minute timers. Work through a weak domain in sections, explain uncertain answers, then attempt a mixed mock without notes. Review correct guesses alongside errors before the next attempt.

The scope follows PL-300 skills effective April 20, 2026. Basic Power BI authoring and data concepts are recommended. Fixed mock length and the 80% study target are author-defined rather than a reproduction of Microsoft's exam form or scaled score. This independent written resource includes no hosted Power BI capacity, official examination questions or Microsoft endorsement.

What Will You Learn?

  • Select data connectivity and storage modes using the actual source and workload requirements.
  • Diagnose profiling, type, transformation, merge and loading issues in Power Query.
  • Trace DAX aggregation, context transition, filter changes, time calculations and model-grain consequences.
  • Compare calculation-group, model-calculation and visual-calculation responsibilities.
  • Configure report interactions, navigation, export, accessibility, mobile and paginated consumer behavior.
  • Evaluate Copilot narratives, page authoring and semantic-model summaries against their evidence and prerequisites.
  • Apply workspace, item, model and row-security boundaries to distribution and refresh scenarios.
  • Use focused feedback and timed mocks to plan targeted revision.
