PMI PfMP Portfolio Management: Decision Practice Tests
About Course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
An investment can improve revenue while harming an approved retention objective. Practise assessing the full strategic mandate before a strong component business case becomes a portfolio recommendation.
These English practice tests support Portfolio Management Professional, PfMP, preparation for experienced managers who need to connect selection, governance, capacity, risk and realised value.
Judge the portfolio rather than one successful component
Questions examine strategic criteria, business cases, dependencies, feasible investment combinations, decision rights, authorisation, performance, shared exposure and stakeholder communication. Numerical cases specify the measurement base and constraints.
Every answer option receives feedback, a reasoned explanation and a study suggestion. You will distinguish the approved strategy from an older divisional target, identify competing outcomes, and check whether a manager has authority to recommend or approve the action.
The course contains 360 original single-best-answer questions: five domain practices of 50, 40, 50, 25 and 25 questions, followed by one integrated 170-question, 240-minute mock. Its allocation approximates the published five-domain weights of 25%/20%/25%/15%/15%.
Revise the governance or alignment condition
Start with the domain tests and state your reasoning before opening the feedback. For each missed item, identify the unsupported assumption about strategy, capacity, benefits or decision rights. Revisit the relevant PfMP Exam Content Outline task, then use the timed mock for integrated practice.
All practice questions contribute to your learning score. The official exam includes 150 scored and 20 unscored items; the course does not replicate their hidden placement or delivery interface. The 80% course target is a study goal, separate from PMI's passing standard.
Working knowledge of portfolio, programme and project management is expected. Review current eligibility and panel-review requirements before applying. This independent course does not provide an application service, official PMI questions, endorsement or a guaranteed result.
