About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

You can recognise Python syntax and still be unsure what a short program will do. These PCEP-30-02 practice tests help you trace values, explain the rule behind an answer and identify the exact step where your reasoning changes.

Learn from the choice that nearly fooled you

Practise types, operators, input and output; branches, loop boundaries and loop else; collections, slicing and shared references; and functions, scope, returns and exceptions. Questions also ask you to choose a repair, find a counterexample or compare implementations rather than only predict output.

Every option includes an explanation. Overall reasoning and review guidance connect a mistaken choice with the relevant concept, such as a slice endpoint, a shared object or the handler reached by an exception. Use the feedback to change one condition and predict whether the answer still holds.

The 600 questions comprise four 135-question topic banks and two separate 30-question mocks with 40-minute timers. Use the banks in sessions of roughly 15–30 questions rather than as single exam-length attempts. Save the mocks for fresh first attempts after revision, and review correct guesses alongside mistakes.

This course suits learners who have studied basic Python. A Python 3 interpreter is useful for exploring examples afterward, but no paid software is needed. It targets PCEP-30-02; check your intended examination version. Written selection questions and course scoring differ from the official exam, and repeated-attempt scores also reflect familiarity. This independent resource contains no official examination questions, complete beginner video course or Python Institute endorsement.

What Will You Learn?

  • Predict the results of short Python programs by tracing types, expressions and changing values.
  • Identify mistakes involving branches, loops, indexing, slicing and shared references.
  • Explain how arguments, return values, scope and exception handling affect program behavior.
  • Use four topic banks and two timed mock exams to identify uncertain topics and plan focused PCEP-30-02 revision.
