NVIDIA NCA-AIIO: AI Infrastructure Practice Tests

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

When a destination host cannot see its GPU outside a container, changing a model prompt will not repair the failing layer. Practise locating the infrastructure boundary that matters before choosing an AI operations response.

This course supports NVIDIA-Certified Associate: AI Infrastructure and Operations, NCA-AIIO, using the official Jan26 study-guide scope.

Connect AI concepts to infrastructure choices

Questions link learning approaches and software roles with compute capacity, memory, deployment, power, cooling, storage, cluster networking, RDMA, DPU offload, scheduling and virtualisation. Scenarios require you to separate model compatibility, host support, container exposure and distributed communication.

Every answer option receives feedback, alongside an overall explanation and study tip. The explanations identify what the available evidence establishes and what an attractive alternative leaves unresolved. Numerical exercises state their assumptions rather than presenting a hypothetical capacity as a universal hardware requirement.

There are 340 original single-answer questions: four 60-question topic tests and two 50-question, 60-minute mocks. Each mock allocates 19 questions to Essential AI Knowledge, 20 to AI Infrastructure and 11 to AI Operations, following the published domain percentages.

Build a revision path around the failing layer

Complete the topic tests first. After each attempt, group errors into concepts, compute and facilities, networking, or operations. Revisit the corresponding documentation and explain the prerequisite that makes the correct action useful. Then take the mocks under the time limit.

The 80% practice checkpoint is an author-defined learning target, not NVIDIA's official passing threshold. The questions are independently designed; matching public length, timing and domain proportions does not reproduce the confidential examination.

Basic data-centre knowledge is expected. You can take the tests without GPU hardware, but no hardware lab is included. This independent associate-level resource is not endorsed by NVIDIA and does not replace operational experience.

What Will You Learn?

  • Distinguish AI, machine learning and deep learning, and compare training with inference.
  • Match NVIDIA software and infrastructure solutions to their actual responsibilities.
  • Evaluate GPU and host resource budgets, scaling limits and deployment constraints.
  • Interpret data-center power, cooling, installation and service-access requirements.
  • Compare cluster data paths, high-speed fabrics, RDMA concepts and DPU offload.
  • Diagnose GPU monitoring and scheduling evidence without overclaiming a root cause.
  • Check MIG capacity, guest software and configuration-specific virtualization support.
  • Practise the published NCA-AIIO domain scope in two 50-question timed mocks.
