NISM XII Practice Tests: Explain Securities-Market Decisions
About Course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
A secondary-market trade provides liquidity but does not send its purchase price to the issuer. These NISM Series XII Securities Markets Foundation practice tests help you follow where money, obligations and risk actually move before choosing an answer.
Practise market participants and investment instruments, then compare primary issues, allotments, rights and existing-share sales. Secondary-market scenarios examine order execution, settlement and investor protection. Mutual-fund and derivative tasks distinguish NAV, cost, cash received, payoff and profit using stated assumptions.
The 320 questions form four focused 55-question sets and one 100-question, 120-minute mock. Each option has feedback, with worked reasoning and a study suggestion. Cases ask you to identify the funds that directly finance a company rather than combine new subscriptions with money paid to existing holders.
Use focused practice alongside the March 2026 workbook, applicable from April 30, 2026. Retain calculations, explain why the nearest alternative uses the wrong base or cash flow and then attempt the mock without its feedback. Review weak units as well as your total score.
Basic arithmetic and introductory financial terms are sufficient; specialist trading experience is not required. The mock uses the published six-unit weighting, a 60% target and no negative marking. The focused sets use a separate 70% learning goal. Rule checks in this resource were recorded through October 16, 2026; scenario prices and fees are illustrative unless identified otherwise.
