About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A hedge can reduce price exposure while creating a cash-funding need, and an in-the-money option can still lose money after premium. These NISM Series VIII Equity Derivatives practice tests help you connect the contract, payoff and operating rule with the actual decision.

Practise futures pricing, basis, position changes and hedge quantities. Options questions examine intrinsic value, premium-inclusive profit, Greeks, parity and strategies. Trading and clearing scenarios connect order conditions, settlement, collateral, margins, regulation, client diligence and investor protection with the stated Indian-market context.

The 320 single-choice questions comprise five focused 44-question sets and one 100-question, 120-minute mock. Every option has feedback, with worked explanations and a study suggestion. Numerical cases distinguish gross cash flow, trading profit and refundable collateral, including a hedge whose excess quantity creates a net short exposure.

Use the focused sets with the official March 2026 workbook. Keep your workings, identify the deciding convention or rule and attempt the mock after reviewing weak areas. The course scope records rule checks through October 16, 2026; consult current official material for later changes.

Basic stock-market terms and percentage arithmetic are recommended; no brokerage account or trading is required. NISM scores one for correct and deducts 0.25 for wrong answers, with 60 required out of 100. the practice platform does not apply that penalty: separately calculate correct minus 0.25 times wrong, leaving unanswered items at zero. This independent resource offers no investment or personal tax advice and does not guarantee a result.
