MongoDB Associate DBA Practice Tests: Diagnose & Recover
About Course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
An index may exist without covering the query, and surviving replica members may still be unable to elect a primary. These MongoDB Associate Database Administrator practice tests help you use the workload and deployment evidence before choosing a diagnostic or recovery action.
Follow document and deployment behaviour
Practise document queries, aggregation, indexes, optimisation, monitoring, reliability, backups, replication, sharding and security. Questions ask you to trace pipeline output, interpret array conditions, compare query evidence and assess whether a proposed backup or topology meets the required recovery outcome.
Every option has feedback, with overall reasoning and an objective-based study tip. Default unwind behaviour, for example, does not produce a row for every input document when fields are empty or missing. Use the explanations to identify the data-shape or configuration assumption that makes a tempting result incorrect.
The 330 questions comprise four focused 45-question drills and two 75-question mocks with 90-minute timers. Review a weak administration area, explain the deciding condition for uncertain choices, then attempt a mixed mock without notes after addressing those gaps.
The scope follows the stated updated DBA guide and focuses on self-managed MongoDB, not Atlas Administrator certification. Examples use MongoDB 8.0-compatible syntax as a course baseline rather than an official required exam version. MongoDB foundations are recommended. The 80% target is author-defined practice feedback. This independent written resource includes no hosted database lab, official examination questions or MongoDB endorsement.
