AB-400 Power Platform Practice Tests: Trace Code Boundaries

Share

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Selecting an extension is only the start of a Power Platform development decision. These AB-400 practice tests help you identify the executing identity, transaction boundary, supported interface and recovery path that make an implementation meet its requirement.

Practise architecture, ALM, solution layers, client scripting, PCF and code apps. Dataverse scenarios examine plug-ins, APIs, concurrency, sparse updates and asynchronous work. Agent and integration questions connect MCP authentication, connected agents, preview Work IQ skills, event delivery and connector contracts with the actual operation.

The 360 questions form four focused 65-question sets and two 50-question, 100-minute integrated practices. Every option has feedback, with an overall explanation and study tip. Cases distinguish throughput from mandatory transaction semantics: a faster table choice is not suitable if it cannot meet the required atomic related-row rule.

Begin with focused practice and explain why each alternative fits or fails. Revisit the relevant Microsoft documentation, try suitable examples in your permitted development environment where available, then attempt an integrated test and review errors and guesses.

The scope is AB-400, available from October 16, 2026, rather than a relabeled PL-400 bank. Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate and basic coding/API familiarity are recommended. No tenant purchase is needed for these questions. Preview features retain their stated conditions. This independent resource supplies text-based practice, not interactive labs or official exam items. The 50-item format and 80% target do not claim an exact exam shape, scaled-score conversion or guaranteed outcome.

What Will You Learn?

  • Choose extension boundaries from transaction, identity, consistency and user-experience requirements.
  • Diagnose client-script, PCF and code-app integration problems using their supported contracts.
  • Reason about Dataverse plug-ins, custom APIs, concurrency, throttling and asynchronous workloads.
  • Evaluate MCP authentication, connected agents and preview Work IQ business-skill requirements.
  • Plan event delivery, change tracking, alternate-key synchronization and custom connector contracts.
  • Review weak areas using option-level feedback, overall explanations and targeted study tips.
