SC-401 Practice Tests: Protect Information with Purview
About Course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
A matching policy may not enforce the expected action, and a recorded event does not establish the user's current permissions. These SC-401 practice tests help you choose a Microsoft Purview control from the actual data, location, user and activity.
Scope date: this course targets the published English skills measured from October 28, 2026. Check that this outline matches your planned examination rather than assuming it covers an earlier form.
Trace the protection decision
Practise classification, sensitive information types, labels, encryption, DLP, Endpoint controls and retention. Insider-risk, investigation and AI-security cases connect signals, case membership, content authority and response boundaries. Questions ask whether detection evidence satisfies all requirements, not merely whether one headline metric looks stronger.
Every option has feedback, with an overall explanation and study suggestion. If a classifier detects more genuine identifiers but also breaches the allowed false-match condition, its higher detection count alone does not make it suitable. Use the explanations to identify which acceptance boundary or control stage the alternatives miss.
The 360 questions comprise four focused workshops and two 60-question mocks with 100-minute timers. Review a weak area, explain both chosen and rejected answers, then attempt a mixed mock without notes.
Microsoft 365 security foundations are recommended. The fixed question count and 80% review target are course choices, not official exam-form or scaled-score claims. This independent written resource provides no hosted tenant, official examination questions or Microsoft endorsement.
