About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A correct record can still be unavailable when staff need it. A successful login can still lack permission for the next request. Prepare for ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, CC, by identifying the asset, authority and control boundary in a foundational security scenario.

Build the decision behind the definition

Practice Security Principles, Security Governance, Identity and Access Management, Networking and Cloud Security Concepts, and Security Operations and Incident Response. Foundational AI examples connect these domains with training-data integrity, automated identities and sensitive-information handling.

The 400 original single-choice questions include four 50-question practice sets and two fixed 100-question, 120-minute assessments, using the outline effective September 1, 2026.

Test what remains true under changed conditions

Every question includes feedback for every option, an overall explanation and a study tip. Distinguish availability from integrity, compare RPO and RTO, examine a metric's denominator, and apply an access rule to current device attributes. A previous successful request does not establish permanent permission.

No cybersecurity employment experience is required. Basic computer familiarity and willingness to revisit new concepts will help. Work through the practice sets in manageable sessions, then use the fixed assessments after reviewing uncertain answers.

These forms do not reproduce CAT adaptive delivery or advanced item interactions. Domain counts are approximate study allocations, and the 80% target is not a conversion of ISC2's scaled passing score. This independent course includes questions and feedback rather than a live lab and has no ISC2 endorsement.

What Will You Learn?

  • Distinguish confidentiality, integrity, availability, AAA, privacy, and attribution using the evidence in a scenario.
  • Compare risk treatments, governance requirements, control mechanisms, and professional obligations.
  • Evaluate continuity dependencies, recovery targets, awareness behavior, and security metrics.
  • Apply identity lifecycle, least privilege, separation of duties, and access-control conditions.
  • Interpret network layers, segmentation, wireless and embedded-device risks, cloud models, and shared responsibilities.
  • Assess data protection, security monitoring, incident handling, asset changes, and authorized testing.
