ISACA CRISC Practice Tests: Choose Defensible Risk Responses

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A feasible technical control may be premature, outside the decision maker's mandate or unable to meet the required residual-risk limit. These CRISC practice tests help you select the risk action that fits the business objective, authority and stage of the process.

Practise governance, appetite and ownership, then build scenarios from threats, vulnerabilities, impact and uncertainty. Response questions examine treatment choices, control design and operating evidence, indicators and communication. Technology and security tasks connect architecture, data, operations and resilience with the actual risk being managed.

The 480 single-best-answer questions comprise four focused domain sets and two 150-question, 240-minute mocks. Every option has feedback, an overall rationale and guidance for further review. Numerical cases make the binding condition explicit: the cheaper response is not sufficient when it leaves exposure outside the approved tolerance.

Use focused practice to record the condition ruling out the nearest alternative. Revisit weak concepts, take a mock without notes and review correct guesses as well as mistakes. Ask whether a changed risk limit or decision right would change your recommendation before repeating the test.

The scope is the CRISC outline effective November 3, 2025. Basic IT, security and business-process familiarity is recommended. This independent resource supplies written practice, not official ISACA questions, registration or certification eligibility. Its 70% target is a training setting rather than a conversion to the official scaled passing score, and it does not promise an examination outcome.

What Will You Learn?

  • Distinguish governance decisions, business risk ownership and control responsibilities.
  • Develop risk scenarios using threats, vulnerabilities, business impacts and uncertainty.
  • Compare risk response options against appetite, tolerances and external obligations.
  • Evaluate control design and operating evidence before relying on residual-risk estimates.
  • Interpret risk, control and performance indicators for the appropriate stakeholder.
  • Apply technology, data lifecycle and resilience principles to IT risk decisions.
  • Practice two 150-question mocks with the current four-domain weighting.
