GRE Verbal and Quantitative: Reasoning Practice Tests
About Course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
A plausible interpretation can go beyond the passage. A familiar formula can use the wrong denominator. Strengthen GRE Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning by practicing how to preserve the qualification, logical relationship or mathematical condition that decides the answer.
Build the reasoning before testing your pace
The 324 original questions are organized into reading comprehension, text completion and sentence equivalence, arithmetic and algebra, geometry and data, and two fixed Verbal/Quantitative rehearsals. Original academic-style passages do not require specialist subject knowledge. Quantitative work includes comparisons, equations, ratios, statistics and probability.
Every question includes feedback for each choice, a worked explanation and a review suggestion. Identify the passage support, contrast clue, admissible root or relevant population before looking at the answer. For a missed question, explain why the closest alternative fails rather than remembering its position.
Use the rehearsals with clear expectations
Each rehearsal combines 27 Verbal and 27 Quantitative questions in four self-timed blocks, totalling 88 minutes. The platform provides a combined timer without separate section locks. Focused sets have flexible 90-minute study limits.
This course covers Verbal and Quantitative only, with Analytical Writing separate. It does not reproduce adaptive routing, official difficulty calibration or GRE scaled scoring. Numeric-entry, multi-blank and sentence-selection tasks are adapted to selectable answers; tables and diagrams use readable text or monospaced displays. Multiple-answer items specify the required selection count.
Academic English, high-school mathematics and paper for calculations are recommended. Use ETS resources for the official interface and wider preparation. The 70% target is a study aid, not a pass mark or score conversion. This independent resource has no ETS endorsement.
