About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

An accepted request may not mean work completed. A valid credential may not authorize the required API. A well-tuned query may still suffer from repeated cross-continent round trips. Prepare for Google Professional Cloud Developer by tracing the boundary behind the symptom.

Follow the application lifecycle

Practice architecture, security and data design; development, builds and testing; Cloud Run and GKE deployment; and integration and troubleshooting. Questions ask you to read requirements, inspect identity and protocol assumptions, and choose a change that addresses the observed constraint.

The 304 original questions include four 46-question focused tests and two 60-question, 120-minute mixed mocks. Scenarios combine single-answer and explicit select-two tasks across the four-domain guide.

Test what the proposed fix actually changes

Every option includes feedback, and each question provides an overall explanation and study guidance. Distinguish application-layer path routing from transport forwarding, geographic latency from query execution cost, or a deployment request from completed state. Review the condition that would make another alternative appropriate.

Application-development, HTTP, containers, Google Cloud and IAM familiarity are recommended. No paid deployment is required for the questions; a hosted lab is not included.

The guide used for this scope does not publish a version identifier. Mock allocations approximate its domain weights, while focused-test timing and the 80% target are course settings rather than Google's scoring method. This independent preparation has no Google endorsement and contains no actual exam questions.

What Will You Learn?

  • Choose application platforms, interfaces and asynchronous services using explicit workload constraints.
  • Distinguish authentication, authorization, encryption, network reachability and artifact admission.
  • Reason about data schemas, replication, signed access and safe datastore operations.
  • Evaluate AI-assisted code and tests using repository context, independent expectations and controlled tool access.
  • Diagnose Cloud Build, Cloud Run and GKE failures from the relevant evidence.
  • Integrate API and messaging clients with appropriate pagination, retry and completion boundaries.
  • Use metrics, logs and traces to investigate application behavior and validate diagnostic hypotheses.
