Databricks Spark Developer Practice Tests: Trace the Result
About Course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
More executors do not automatically remove a serial bottleneck, and a valid transformation does not prove the expected row count. These Databricks Associate Developer for Apache Spark practice tests help you reason from code and data through execution behaviour.
Practise architecture, deployment, Spark Connect, SQL and data-source choices, then work through DataFrame transformations, schemas, NULLs, joins, dates and aggregation. Tuning and troubleshooting questions examine partitions, caching, AQE, driver and executor evidence. Structured Streaming tasks connect output modes, windows, checkpoints, state and deduplication with the stated requirements.
There are 360 questions across four focused sets and two 45-question, 90-minute mocks. Feedback for every option, an overall explanation and a study prompt help you explain why an alternative changes semantics or fails to address the bottleneck. The mocks use different conditions rather than repeating a remembered answer.
During focused practice, predict the result or execution boundary before viewing feedback. Revisit the relevant API rule and try a small example in your own environment where available. Then attempt a mixed mock and group errors by code semantics, distributed behaviour or operational assumptions.
Working Python, SQL and introductory Spark knowledge are recommended. The scope is the October 30, 2025 guide; Python examples use documented Spark 3.5 APIs without claiming that the exam fixes a runtime patch version. This independent written resource includes no hosted Spark lab. Its 80% revision target is not an official pass mark, and it does not model additional unscored items or promise certification success.
