DAMA CDMP Data Quality Practice Tests: Measure What Matters

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A valid identifier can belong to the wrong customer, and an on-time file can contain stale information. These CDMP Data Quality Specialist practice tests help you decide whether data is fit for a stated use and whether the proposed improvement addresses the cause.

Practise quality dimensions, profiling, samples, applicable populations and measurement rules. Scenarios distinguish missing-value states, parsing, standardisation, enrichment, correction and prevention. Governance and operational tasks ask you to connect an incident with accountability, service timing and evidence for closure, rather than treating a deployed control as proof of realised value.

The 320 questions comprise four focused 30-question sets and two 100-question, 90-minute mocks. Feedback for every option, overall reasoning and study tips explain why a nearby dimension or technical action does not fit the business consequence. A reduced error count, for example, should be connected with the rework or outcome that matters.

Use the focused sets with your DAMA-DMBOK2 Revised Edition reference. Record the consumer requirement and missing evidence for each error, review the related concept, then attempt a mixed mock to change between decision types.

Basic data-management knowledge is recommended. This independent course follows the 2024 Revised Edition basis for Data Quality; the mock topic distribution is author-selected. Its 70% practice target relates to the Practitioner path, while Master candidates may separately assess an 80% goal. Other certification requirements remain applicable. Standard exam pacing is 90 minutes, with an English ESL option of 110 minutes. Practice results do not award certification or predict a pass.

What Will You Learn?

  • Distinguish data quality dimensions using the actual consumer requirement and available evidence.
  • Interpret profiles and samples without mistaking an anomaly for a proven defect or cause.
  • Define applicable populations, rule outcomes and comparable quality metrics.
  • Separate parsing, standardization, enrichment, correction and prevention.
  • Evaluate quality incidents, service clocks, governed decisions and evidence for closure.
  • Connect quality controls with metadata, modeling, master data and integration dependencies.
  • Practice timed mixed questions and use the explanations to target further study.
