CompTIA Security+ SY0-701: Controls in Practice Tests
About Course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
A control can protect one boundary while leaving another exposed. A successful recovery step can restore availability while breaking a custody requirement. Prepare for CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 by checking what the scenario requires before choosing a security response.
Connect concepts with enterprise decisions
Practice controls, cryptography, threats and indicators; architecture, cloud and access boundaries; security operations and incident evidence; and governance, risk, vendors and assurance. Questions ask you to distinguish a compensating measure from a repair, or stronger authentication from enforced separation of duties.
The 371 original questions follow four focused drills and two 90-question, 90-minute mixed mocks. The drills let you isolate a task gap; the mixed mocks bring all five domains together using approximate published domain weights.
Review the reason an alternative fails
Each question includes feedback for every option, an overall explanation and a focused study suggestion. Identify what the available evidence proves, which requirement must remain true, and whether the proposed action actually enforces it. Review a correct guess as carefully as a mistake before retrying a topic.
Foundational security terminology and confidence reading short logs, access descriptions and enterprise scenarios are expected. This bank complements broader study and hands-on security practice.
The tests use selected-response questions and do not supply interactive PBQs or lab equipment. A 90-question mock does not reproduce every official interaction, and the 80% study checkpoint is not a conversion of CompTIA's scaled score or a pass prediction. This independent course has no CompTIA affiliation or endorsement.
