About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

More stock can improve availability while increasing cost; a discounted asset can still be the wrong purchase. These CIPS Whole Life Asset Management L4M7 practice tests help you weigh those conditions and choose an option that meets the actual service requirement.

Join warehouse, inventory and asset decisions

Practise warehouse layout, product identification, tracking and handling equipment. Compare stock classifications and acquisition, holding and shortage costs. Work through forecasting, replenishment, MRP II, ERP, JIT and performance measures, then evaluate asset choices from acquisition to end of life.

Each question includes option-by-option feedback, an overall explanation and a study tip. Scenarios distinguish physical stock from usable stock, a recorded scan from a valid inventory event, and purchase price from whole-life value. Calculation questions state units and assumptions so you can identify which quantities belong in the comparison.

Use the feedback to direct your next session

There are 360 questions: four focused tests of 60 and two mixed 60-question mocks with 90-minute timers. Begin with the focused area that needs attention. Explain the relevant rule after each uncertain answer, then attempt a mock without notes and revisit the remaining gaps before the second.

The course follows the stated CIPS Level 4 syllabus labelled 2018 Syllabus, Version 2. Basic procurement and inventory knowledge will help you use the scenarios. The mock topic allocations are author-designed training choices; scores do not predict an official result. This independent written resource contains no official examination questions and is not affiliated with or endorsed by CIPS.
