CIPS L4M4 Practice Tests: Ethical Sourcing & Supplier Risk
About Course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
A profitable supplier may still lack cash, and the lowest quotation may conceal a higher whole-life cost. These CIPS Ethical and Responsible Sourcing L4M4 practice tests help you judge the evidence behind a sourcing recommendation and connect commercial analysis with responsible procurement.
Look beyond the headline claim
Compare make-or-buy and sourcing arrangements, supplier capability and financial viability. Work through market evidence, tender procedures, weighted evaluation and award decisions. International scenarios ask you to distinguish Incoterms delivery and risk points, payment choices and compliance conditions; responsible-sourcing cases compare policy statements with verified outcomes.
Every option has feedback, plus an overall explanation and study tip. Calculations identify relevant costs and assumptions, including opportunity costs when capacity has another use. Review why a rejected option omits a condition, uses the wrong financial measure or treats a signed document as proof of operational performance.
Build a repeatable revision method
The 360 questions are arranged in three focused 60-question tests and three mixed 60-question mocks with 90-minute timers. Complete a focused test after studying its module topics. Separate formula mistakes from evidence or requirement errors, then use a mock to practise choosing across topics under time pressure.
The course follows the stated L4M4 2018 syllabus Version 2. Familiarity with procurement concepts and basic financial calculations is recommended. Mock topic distributions are author designed, and a practice result is not an official CIPS result. These are independent written questions, without official or recalled examination items, and CIPS does not endorse the course.
