AZ-700 Azure Network Engineer: Scenario Practice Tests
About Course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
A connected peering is not proof that every prefix has a working route. A DNS answer is not proof that the client can reach the destination. Prepare for AZ-700 Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions by practicing how to follow those distinctions through a network scenario.
Trace the path before changing the service
Questions cover IP planning, DNS, routes and monitoring; VPN, ExpressRoute and Virtual WAN; Load Balancer, Traffic Manager, Application Gateway and Front Door; and private access, NSGs, Azure Firewall and WAF. Compare the next hop, query direction, failure domain and control scope with the requirement that decides the answer.
The 320 original questions are organized into four focused sets and two 50-question, 100-minute mixed tests. The focused sets let you work on a particular network boundary before combining multiple services in timed practice.
Review why the other change would not help
Each question includes a decision explanation and feedback for every choice, with a Microsoft Learn resource for further study. Distinguish a capacity shortfall from an address-counting mistake, or a stale peering address-space view from an NSG problem. Record the evidence you overlooked before retrying a missed question.
This course suits learners already familiar with Azure virtual networks, subnets, IP addressing and common networking services. No paid Azure account is required, and the course does not include deployment labs.
The mixed tests are custom selected-response study formats, rather than a reproduction of every Microsoft exam interaction or a fixed official question count. The 80% practice target is a revision checkpoint, not a conversion of Microsoft's scaled score. This independent material has no Microsoft affiliation or endorsement.
